Our story:
Born from resilience
Starr Struck Events and Decor was born out of resilience, creativity, and an unshakable belief in the power of celebration—even in the darkest of times. Founded by an African American single mother during the height of the global pandemic, this business began as a personal mission to find light in the midst of uncertainty.
Like many others, she was faced with job instability, isolation, and the overwhelming challenge of balancing motherhood with survival. But instead of giving in to despair, she turned to her passion: creating beauty, joy, and unforgettable experiences through design and decor. What started as a folding chairs and tables advertised for rent on social media and small backyard celebrations for family and close frients quickly grew into a full-service event and decor company fueled by word of mouth, determination, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Every centerpiece, backdrop, and balloon arrangement tells a story—one of perseverance, love, and the belief that every milestone, no matter how big or small, deserves to be celebrated in style.
